Narcissists love control, and they seek out control in many different ways. The revelations of who they truly are and what they were up to are not usually made clear until it is much too late. So, today I want to talk about the fact that a narcissist may be silently spying on you. They often employ various covert tactics to spy on their victims to maintain control. A lot of these methods are subtle and designed to avoid detection, making it difficult for the victim to realize they are being monitored.
There are many reasons why a narcissist may decide to spy on someone, but it is mainly because they like to be “in the know.” They want to know what you are up to and compare their lives to yours. And if anything happens in your life that they can use as an opportunity to swivel their way back in, they will. So, even if you have gone “No Contact,” the narcissist still tries to keep up to date with what is happening in your life.
But today, I am going to go through seven of the most common ways they secretly try to spy on you. I am not saying that anyone who uses any of these tactics is a narcissist, as this is not enough to determine if someone is a narcissist, but narcissists will use these methods to spy on people. So, if you know that you are dealing with a narcissist or have dealt with one, be mindful of these tactics that they use to maintain control over others.
